well, so far, i’ve made progress on a few things: Meeting with my expert sources, making progress on my product, and a better overall idea of what exactly i’m doing..
Site visit: As of now, i have met and spoken with 2 of my sources, and conducted interviews with 2 local graffiti artists whom combined have nearly 20 years experience. But because the idea of my project is to inform my audience on both sides of the issue, i’m going to also conduct interviews with a few sources that would have a complete opposing views when compared to the views of graffiti artists, Police Officers for example. I’m planning on conducting interviews with the police officers and asking them questions regarding, sentences that graffiti artists face, how they feel that ‘Legal walls’ (Walls which graffiti artists can use in order to display their art in a legal way) may help with the issue, and other questions regarding the topic. In addition to Graffiti Artists and Police Officers, i will also conduct interviews with local Art teachers in order to see whether or not they consider Graffiti to be an art, legal or illegal. Also, I’m planning on adding a video to my overall product and presentation. Eventually i will hold video interviews which will simply be myself asking multiple sources a series of questions regarding the topic.

I like that you are seeking information from so many different outside sources. I agree that the more opinions and information you can gather on your topic the better. I also like the video addition to your product. Are you still interested in painting the library stairwells? I think it would be cool to record that process and then show it in high speed. Just a thought…

Thank you, and i am painting the stairwells, but in order to do so, i have to get it passed my the board, which i’m working on, and about the process being filmed, that is a great idea, i didn’t think of that. It’s totally a possibility and i will definitely keep that in mind, thanks jp.
